Come once or come every month. This group gathers monthly to learn the art of embellishment. Whether you are working on a crazy quilt or embellishing a more traditional quilt – this group is for you. We explore a wide variety of embellishing techniques such as basic embroidery stitches and silk ribbon embroidery; the use of beads, buttons, and crystals; and work with a vast variety of decorative threads and fibers. We love to share ideas, explore new techniques and just be together.

The “Pieceful” Piecing Club
Meets: 2nd Sunday each month
Time: 11 am – 2 pm
This club is devoted to hand-piecing and begins with a 26″ x 26″ wall hanging using Cindy Blackberg’s Churn Dash rubber stamps and her pattern “Churn Dash Sampler.” While templates are included in the pattern, Noel Payton strongly advises using a 3-stamp set to ensure accuracy and consistency in piecing. Two 3.75″ blocks (finished size) will be made a month. Join Noel and learn how easy it is to make this charmingly small sampler and see how soothing and “pieceful” hand-piecing can be! Beginners at hand-piecing are welcome!
Quilters describe PhD as “Projects Half Done!” Does that describe your projects? Mary Ann will help you work through those projects with this program. Choose six projects – at any stage of completion – that you want to finish. There will be goals, challenges and fun to help you complete your PhD program and get you to graduation.
